During each HomeCare visit, we’ll take a general look around the accessible exterior of your property for visible maintenance concerns. If something stands out, we’ll document it and bring it to your attention so it can be addressed before it becomes a larger problem or an unexpected expense.

This is a general visual review, not a formal inspection, and does not guarantee that every existing or developing issue will be identified.

Interior Gutter Cleaning

Interior gutter cleaning includes debris removal from gutter channels, clearing accessible above-ground downspouts, jobsite cleanup, and completion documentation.

*Upon enrollment in an Annual HomeCare Plan one gutter-seam reseal is included at no additional charge, when standard sealant is sufficient.*

Exterior Gutter Cleaning

Exterior gutter cleaning includes washing visible gutter faces and removing surface buildup. When gutter guards are present, accessible top surfaces are also cleaned without removing the guards.

Good to Know

Gutter-guard removal and reinstallation, underground drain lines, and below-ground drainage work are not included but may be separately requested. Painting, refinishing, rust repair, structural repairs, and gutter replacement are excluded. Minor re-pitching or reattachment may be separately quoted when Apex determines it can be performed safely and is likely to improve gutter performance. Visits requested outside the planned service schedule are subject to a trip charge.

Roof Moss Removal & Treatment

This comprehensive service includes carefully removing or agitating existing moss where applicable, clearing roof debris, cleaning interior gutters and accessible above-ground downspouts, followed by the application of a moss-control treatment. Jobsite cleanup, completion documentation, and photos are also included. 

Routine Roof Debris Clearing

Routine roof debris clearing includes removing pine needles, leaves, cones, small branches, and other loose debris from accessible roof surfaces, valleys, and areas around vents, skylights, and chimneys. Jobsite cleanup, completion documentation, and photos are included.

Good to Know

Fragile or damaged roof areas may be excluded from physical agitation and treated only, helping manage moss without creating unnecessary wear. Treatment does not repair existing damage or guarantee an extension of the roof’s service life. Roof repairs are not included.

Roofline vegetation management includes trimming and clearing safely accessible branches, vines, and shrubs that touch or overhang the roof, gutters, siding, and other exterior surfaces. This service helps reduce debris accumulation, limit moisture-trapping contact, maintain access, and protect exterior components. Cut vegetation is collected, the work area is cleaned, and completion documentation is provided.

Good to Know

Routine service is limited to vegetation that can be safely managed without climbing, rigging, or specialized tree-removal equipment. Large limbs, complete tree removal, and work near utility lines require separate evaluation and pricing.

The service includes protecting the surrounding work area, brushing the accessible chimney flue and liner to remove loose soot and brushable creosote, removing loosened debris from the firebox if applicable, and vacuuming the service area. Readily visible components are checked for obvious concerns, and completion documentation and photos are provided.

Why It Matters

Creosote and soot buildup can increase the risk of chimney fires and restrict proper ventilation. Routine chimney sweeping helps remove combustible buildup and keeps your chimney operating more safely and efficiently.

Good to Know

Glazed creosote, animal nests, severe blockages, damaged liners, and chimney repairs are not included in standard sweeping. Additional service may be recommended when these conditions are discovered. Chimney sweeping is routine maintenance. It does not include a formal chimney inspection and should not be considered certification that the chimney is safe for use.

Solar panel cleaning includes removing dust, pollen, bird droppings, leaves, and other surface buildup from safely accessible exterior panel surfaces using non-abrasive cleaning methods. Jobsite cleanup, completion documentation, and photos are included. The primary goal of this service is to help maximize energy production by removing performance-reducing surface buildup.

Good to Know

This service is limited to exterior surface cleaning and does not include electrical testing, system diagnostics, panel disconnection, wiring, inverter work, or repairs. Cracked, loose, damaged, or unsafe panels may be excluded from service. Permanent staining, mineral deposits, oxidation, or surface etching may not be fully removable. Improved energy production is not guaranteed because system performance depends on factors beyond cleanliness.

Exterior siding soft washing includes applying a professional cleaning solution to loosen algae, mildew, dirt, and organic buildup, followed by a thorough low-pressure rinse. Siding, exterior trim, and soffits are cleaned. Protective measures are taken around surrounding landscaping, the work area is cleaned after service, and completion photos are provided.

Good to Know

Some permanent staining, oxidation, fading, paint damage, and deeply embedded buildup may not be fully removable. Repairs, repainting, and restoration are not included but may be separately quoted.

Custom-area pressure washing allows you to choose the specific exterior surfaces you would like cleaned. Each area is evaluated and cleaned using pressure appropriate for the material, followed by a thorough rinse and jobsite cleanup.

Good to Know

Commonly requested items and areas include trash and recycling bins, mailboxes, driveways, walkways, patios, steps, retaining walls, and other exterior surfaces. Delicate, damaged, painted, or sealed surfaces may require an alternative cleaning method.

Exterior Cleaning

Exterior window and skylight cleaning includes removing dirt, pollen, cobwebs, and surface buildup from accessible exterior glass. Dirt and debris are also removed from frames.

Interior Cleaning

Interior window cleaning includes cleaning accessible interior glass and wiping the surrounding frames and sills. Protective measures are taken to safeguard nearby furniture, flooring, and personal belongings throughout the service.

Screen Cleaning

Window screens are removed, cleaned to remove dust and surface buildup, and reinstalled after drying.

Screen Repair

Damaged or worn window screens may be repaired or replaced upon request. Screen repair is quoted separately.

Good to Know

Window frames, sills, and accessible tracks are cleaned as part of the service. Because dirt and staining can become deeply embedded, especially in window tracks, some buildup or discoloration may remain after cleaning. All windows must be fully closed before exterior cleaning begins and safely accessible at the time of service. Inaccessible or damaged windows may be skipped, rescheduled, or subject to additional charges.

Christmas Lighting

Christmas lighting includes installation and scheduled removal from approved rooflines, gutters, railings, landscaping, and other accessible areas.

Snow & Ice Clearing

Snow and ice clearing includes removing accumulation from selected driveways, walkways, steps, and entry areas. One application of surface-compatible deicer is included on selected walkways, steps, and entry areas following clearing service. Full-driveway and repeat deicer applications may be quoted separately.

Seasonal services depend on weather, access, and safe working conditions. Same-day or emergency availability is not guaranteed.

HomeCare plans include only the services and service frequencies listed in the written agreement. All services are subject to property assessment, availability, site conditions, and safe access. Scope, pricing, exclusions, and service terms will be confirmed before work begins.
